Abstract

In the last decade, Casanova studies have produced a renewal, especially in France, ranging from the two Gallimard (2013-2015) and Laffont (2013-2018) editions of the autobiography to that of the family correspondence (Champions 2022). This intervention, reviewing three volumes dedicated to Casanova in 2024, identifies the main itineraries of Casanova criticism in Italy.
