Raccontare un Archivio: i documentari letterari sull’Archivio degli Scrittori e della Cultura Regionale dell’Università di Trieste

Abstract

The essay introduces a literary documentary project dedicated to the University of Trieste’s “Archive of Writers and Regional Culture” (smaTs), intended as a public engagement tool capable of transforming papers, letters and images into stories. From the experience of Archivissima 2021 to Voices, Words and Images (2022), the phases of conception, research, writing, filming and post-production are reconstructed. The aim is to restore the vitality of the documents to the public and show how audiovisual mediation renews practices and forms of literary dissemination.
