Abstract

During the historical period in which, at the time of the «black death», it seems that God’s judgment does not reveal itself and ineffective appears the art of medicine, the young men and women of the “brigata” remove themselves not from the plague, but fromt its moral consequences. Pursuing and reaching their human perfection, they came back to Florence, calms in front of the death as noble knights. The “brigata” does not renounce to the galateo of life and does not not allow that the infection of the pestilence stifles its «comunicare insieme», wich the ten young pepole renew and confirm with the happy narration of the 100 stories.
